| Episode Summary |
| Sakuragi is drooling over the pics of Haruko that Aouta is dangling before his eyes, saying yes that he wants those pictures. Kogure fears that the redhead has taken the bait. Surprisingly, however, when Aouta asks him to join the judo club, Sakuragi strongly answers no. This infuriating exchange goes on for several minutes. Trying to get Sakuragi's sympathy, Aouta narates how Akagi had humiliated him not just once, but twice, the second being Akagi's sarcastic words that Aouta has short legs because of judo. Kogure frowns at that confession and remarks to Akagi that he is mean. Sakuragi, of course, tells how Akagi had nearly strangled him with a choke hold. Both agree that it is difficult to understand why sweet Haruko had a brother as mean and as hideous as Akagi, causing Gori to nearly charge them if it wasn't for Kogure's holding on to his waist. Believing that they are in agreement, Aouta tells Sakuragi to join the judo club application, but the redhead refuses to do so, seeing his name already on it. Again, they have a verbal exchange, until Sakuragi says he'll just take the pictures. There's no choice but to fight. As Aouta grabs Sakuragi, he pauses, seeing how the redhead's sharp eyes look like a hornet. Then, he flips him over on the mat. Aouta's club members arrive to cheer him on. Sakuragi stands, but as Aouta grabs him, our hero gives him a headbutt. Sakuragi takes the pictures from Aouta, but the Judo club Captain trips him and traps him in an armlock. At this point, Ayako, who was Akagi and Kogure peeking through the judo club window, joins the two boys. Seeing what Aouta is doing to Sakuragi, both Kogure and Ayako beg Akagi to stop them, but Gori says it's Sakuragi's decision. Thankfully, Aouta releases Sakuragi and picks up the pics, but our hero traps him in a choke hold. To break free, Aouta grabs his ankle and drops him to the floor. Furious, Sakuragi easily picks up Aouta in a shoulder wheel and throws him to the floor. Aouta tells him that he will never be happy at basketball because the only reason he joined is to impress Haruko. Sakuragi says he will not join the judo club because he likes basketball, a comment that surprises Akagi and makes Kogure and Ayako happy. Later in the gym, Sakuragi sees Haruko and says to himself that, compared to Aouta, he has the REAL thing and not just a bunch of pictures. Little does our poor hero know, that as they train, Haruko's vision is focused solely on Rukawa. |
